I'm sorry it's been so long, but it's been kinda hectic around here.

Anyway, my heart aches for you, upon reading all this. I know how badly you and Scott want this to happen. And I can relate to the "isolation" you are experiencing right now. I've been there.

But I also know that sometimes God allows us to experience this "silence", for our own good. Whether it be to show Him, others, (or ourselves) how we respond to it, how much we desire to be back in close fellowship/communion with Him, or whatever the reason, He has a plan. You just have to continually trust Him in all of it.

Remember the Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit knows our prayers before we utter a word. I believe He knows the desires of your heart, now.

Even when/if you cannot speak, praise Him. Just lift up your hands to Heaven, and praise Him, even if it's in your heart.

I recall in one of Beth Moore's other studies, she speaks of walking in the rain and just stopping in her tracks and lifting her hands up, praising Him. (Doesn't matter if the neighbors think you've lost it... do it.)

What HE sees is far more important. Let Him know you trust Him to bring you through this valley, as in all other valleys. He is indeed faithful!!!

I will be praying for you, my friend, my sister.

Love,
LoisAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25540307.post-58558472769045484932008-03-20T12:37:00.000-04:002008-03-20T12:37:00.000-04:00Hi Hope -- I came to your blog via Ravelry and jus...Hi Hope -- I came to your blog via Ravelry and just wanted to say hi. I have stopped praying for myself and I pray for others but it is much more like thoughts then actual pleading.

I hope you are able to get help from the book.Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17599069988612635252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25540307.post-24336280977132513772008-03-16T20:03:00.000-04:002008-03-16T20:03:00.000-04:00I wonder if starting with small steps is in order....I wonder if starting with small steps is in order. It seems like you are starting to get overwhelmed with all that you would like to accomplish. What about starting with, "Lord, thank you." When/if you feel gratitude in your heart, then move to a bigger step. Just start slowly.Jendeishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11960909534349311223noreply@blogger.com
